12th Ship Observations Team (SOT-12) session will take place in Melbourne, Australia in May 2023 at the kind invitation of the Bureau of Meteorology, Australia as a hybrid meeting. There will be a XBT science workshop on 11-12 May, and SOT-12 session  will take place on 15-18 May 2023. In preparation for the meeting, SOT Executive committee  (SOT-EC) will meet on the 14th May afternoon and on 19th May 2023 morning for post meeting discussion.

An official invitation will be circulated to the WMO Members and IOC Member states in due course. Meeting information will be available through the SOT-12 Session website as they become available.  Please register for the session through the SOT-12 Session website. This session will be conducted in hybrid mode allowing remote participation. However we encourage in-person participation for more productive discussions.
